We haven't opened yet. We open in early November and we're closing the founders' list .

I want my address
Fuerteventura and Lanzarote · scanned the same working day

The tax office letter arrived.
You weren't there.

We receive your mail, scan it the same day and watch your notification mailboxes so you don't miss a deadline.

Nothing to pay today. Your first fee, once your address is active.

Three things we do differently

  • We publish what it costs

Six in ten providers in the Canary Islands don't show their price: they send you to a form. Here you have the full price list, with the extras.

  • Scanned the same day

Not the following week. It arrives, it's logged with date and time, it's scanned and it's on your phone that same working day.

  • We watch your notifications

With your power of attorney (apoderamiento), we check your official mailboxes every working day and tell you how many days you have left before the deadline.

Why this matters more than it seems

Ten calendar days.
Saturdays and Sundays count.

If you have a company, the authorities no longer send you a postman: they leave the notification in an electronic mailbox. From that moment a clock is running, and when it runs out, the notification counts as delivered whether you've read it or not.

  1. 1 Mon
  2. 2 Tue
  3. 3 Wed
  4. 4 Thu
  5. 5 Fri
  6. 6 Sat
  7. 7 Sun
  8. 8 Mon
  9. 9 Tue
  10. 10 Notified
The weekend counts too. So do public holidays, and Christmas. On the tenth day it counts as rejected and the procedure goes on without you.
€420
What a €1,000 penalty could cost you if you react in time: 30% off for accepting it and 40% off for paying promptly, and the two add up.
€1,200
What you end up paying for that same penalty if you don't read the notification: you lose both reductions and the enforcement surcharge comes on top.
€780
The difference, in a single letter. More than a whole year of monitoring costs.

The ten-calendar-day deadline is article 43.2 of Spain's Law 39/2015. The email alert you get is a courtesy from the authorities, not an obligation: if it goes to spam or you've changed your email address, the clock runs all the same.

We explain it in full, with what happens next and what you can do, in our article on the tax office's 10-day deadline (in Spanish).

What almost nobody knows

You think you have one mailbox.
You have several.

And the Canary Islands have one more than anywhere else, with its own rules. With your power of attorney, we check them every working day.

  • Spanish Tax Agency (Hacienda) With your power of attorney, in DEHú and in its e-office
  • Social Security Notifications and contributions
  • Canary Islands Tax Agency IGIC, the Canary Islands indirect tax, with its own power of attorney and exemption days
  • Traffic authority (DGT) Fines for your vehicles
  • Town and island councils The ones that notify through DEHú

And here's the catch: the thirty courtesy days the Spanish Tax Agency gives you —the days when no notifications are left for you— don't apply to IGIC. The Canary Islands Tax Agency has its own exemption days, which you request separately and in advance, and almost nobody does. We handle them for you.

What we don't do

And we'd rather tell you now than once you're a client.

You won't be able to use our address for your Google Maps listing

Google doesn't allow it for shared addresses, and if you do it anyway your listing can be suspended. We'd rather you heard it from us.

We don't do your accounting or your taxes

It's not what we do and we won't pretend it is. We work with advisory firms on the island and can put you in touch with one.

Registering your company here doesn't change your tax residence or give you the ZEC's 4 % rate

It isn't true, and whoever sells you that is getting you into trouble with the tax office. The ZEC, the Canary Islands Special Zone, requires investment, jobs and effective management from here.

If you have premises and run the business from there, your tax address is your premises

That can't be moved, and we'll tell you straight. What we can give you is an address for notifications, which is a different thing and can be somewhere else.

Founder reservation

Save your address before we open.

If you join now, you pay €39 a month for your whole first year, when the standard rate is €45. And nothing to pay today: your first fee, once your address is active.

  • €39 a month for your whole first year, when the standard rate is €45
  • €0 today. We don't ask for a card or payment details: only how to let you know
  • If we don't open in the end, you haven't lost anything

Parcels over 60×40×40 cm or 20 kg don't fit, and neither do pallets or online shop stock. Tell us in the comment and we'll let you know if we can take them.

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us before reserving.

Is it legal to have my company's registered address here?

Yes, as long as the address is real and staffed: a physical office, someone behind it and a log of everything that comes in. What isn't legal is a mailbox with nobody there.

And what if the tax office comes to check?

Let them. There will be an office, there will be someone there, there will be a sign and there will be a mail log with the date and time of every item.

What happens to my mail?

We receive it, log it with date and time, scan it and you get it the same working day. We keep or destroy the originals, whichever you tell us in writing. We don't open anything without your signed authorisation: opening someone else's mail without permission is a crime, which is why the authorisation is a separate document that you sign.

How do I know you really alert me?

Because it's in writing. Every notification we detect and every alert we send you is logged with the date and time, and we give you the records whenever you ask. And there's no minimum term: if you're not convinced, you leave.

What if my gestoría already receives my notifications from the tax office?

The tax office only accepts one representative to receive them, so your gestoría (accountancy firm) keeps receiving those. We watch the rest of your mailboxes and alert you directly, the same day.

Can I come and collect my parcels?

Yes, by appointment: tell us when you're coming and we'll hand it to you at the door. If you prefer, we forward it to you, with shipping at your expense.

Do you have an office in Lanzarote?

No. Companies in Lanzarote use our address in Puerto del Rosario, in Fuerteventura: your mail reaches you scanned the same working day, and we forward your parcels to you.

How long does it take to get set up?

Ten minutes to sign. Activation takes between twenty-four and forty-eight hours because the law requires us to identify you before we start, and that's not something we can skip. If you already have the company, we give you the address certificate the same day so you can take it to the bank or the notary.

Is there a minimum term?

No.
